Molly and I went hiking and Geocaching in Mt Falcon Park today. The weather was perfect for hiking, cool and calm. We hiked about 6 miles total, finding three Geocaches and one benchmark. Of the three caches found, the most interesting was (GCX3KB) "Out on a Limerick". To log this cache you needed to write a limerick in the log book. Here's mine.

On high mountain trails I slog
Not alone but with my dog
Seeking out the hidden cache purse
Wracking my brain for just one verse
To write upon the log

(slightly modified for better cadence)
Not the greatest but it will do. We also saw a few deer today including the one pictured here.

Molly and I see Coyotes often as we walk in the early evenings. I have tried to catch them on film many times without success. I finally caught this one trying to slip away into the dark. I have a few other photos but this is the best.

I have been very busy with work the last few weeks and haven't had time to do much caching, or anything else for that matter. Today, Molly and I headed out to find a few caches along the Platte River in Littleton. We found (GCKKPP) "Just Because" and (GCXKEY) "Watch Where You Step". We looked for another but were unable to find it. We enjoyed watching all the ducks and geese in the ponds and on the river. A beautiful day to be out caching.

I Voted!  I stood in line for an hour and a half to do it too. As I waited in line I couldn't help but think about all the places on this earth that people have no say in their future, making my inconvenience a very small bump in the road of Democracy.

I'm working in Falcon Colorado again this week and decided to break up my 70 mile commute by stopping to find a cache or two. Today I found (GCKGR3) "What the...? *1*. Very interesting container. This cross roads is surprisingly busy.
