 We just returned from a wonderful fall trip to the Great Sand Dunes. We normally visit Colorado's Dunes in the spring but circumstance had us visiting late this year. We spent time hiking and exploring, of course, but we also played cards and kicked back and enjoyed life. Molly and I hiked to the top of the dunes this morning before we left for home. The wind and blowing sand was brutal but the view on top was worth the trouble. We also found 5 Geocaches, going and coming, including a Earth cache "A Day at the Beach". (GCZJQC)

I was working on a ranch in Colorado Springs today and decided to find a nearby Geocache on my way home. I found (GC13D0K) Broken Branches.

Wow, I Just realized there are 33 Geocaches in the Highlands Ranch area that I need to find. I planned a little loop walk with Molly to find the first three. We found (GC14HCG) Gecko Squad's Head Scratcher #1, (GC14ND5) Gecko Squad's Head Scratcher #2 and (GC13Z6Q) Bunny Bridge Cache.

 I finished all the chores around the house and yard on Saturday and Sunday so Molly and I could go hiking today. I decided to hike up Argentine Peak 13,738'. We wanted to climb Argentine Peak earlier this summer but opted to climb Mt Edwards 13,850 instead. So, Today we returned to hike the 5 mile 2200 foot climb to the peak. We had light rain most of the day with a few minutes of hail when we were right on top eating lunch. As always, we had a wonderful time.
